What is the position of INEC after the election of Senator Dino Melaye?

The election of Senator Dino Melaye, who represents the West Coast constituency in the Nigerian National Assembly, was canceled by the Court of Appeal in Lokoja, Kogi State.
The election was postponed to Friday and ordered a new re-election in the region.
But what is the commission's decision on this matter?
The election commission's spokesman Aliyu Bello told the BBC that as long as he had been interviewed, the INEC had not received the court verdict.
He also said that even if INEC had been handed down, Dino Melaye would have the right to appeal within 21 days.
He said if Senator appeals, he will have to wait for the next court to decide what action to take.
After the ruling, Senator Melaye urged his supporters to stay calm, saying he would appeal further, according to his Twitter account.
Melaye first served as a member of the House of Representatives in 2007, representing the Kabba and Ijumu constituencies in Kogi State.
He served two terms in the House of Representatives before winning the 2015 Senate seat.
He also expressed his desire to run for the Kogi State governor's election in November.
Senator Melaye also said the ruling would not cause him to split his mind about his intention to become governor, as he posted on his Instagram page.
