President of the Nigerian Emergency Management Agency, Engr. Mustapha Y Maihaja said that 30 states are at risk of flooding.
The president, who said most of the states are on the shores of Niger, Benue, like Niger, Adamawa, Niger, Benue and Kebbi, among others.
He said they are currently "in shock" because the magnitude of the incident is not known.
The president explained that they have given people credit and they need to let them know where they need help so that they can be helped.
